We share Hannah's cry for a child when she spoke in 1st Samuel 1:11: "And she vowed a vow and said, “O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life." We rejoice as Hannah did in verse 27 by praising God the creator of all things: "For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him."

What's new with Tristan

Here is the newest things that Tristan has been up to:
1. He was a scuba diver for Halloween.
2. He loves chips and guacamole.
3. Tristan is STILL in pull-ups at night.
4. He loves jumping on the trampoline
5. He loves to sing the ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
6. Tristan wears a cape 95% of the time.
7. Teddy and Blankie are still his best friends.
8. His favorite drink is chocolate milk and lemonade.
9. He wears size 5T.
10. Tristan keeps asking for a baby brother. Ha ha!

Easter was a fun time in the house. We began the day with going to Church and praising Jesus. We then headed to Easter brunch with waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, omelets, etc. It was good and both kids ate A LOT!! It was time to take naps once we got back home in order to rest up for the egg hunt. Early in the afternoon we did a fun egg hunt with plastic eggs filled with skittles and mini dinosaurs. Tristan loves gum so there was some gum eggs too. We had a small gathering of family, friends and neighbors for a potluck style Easter bbq. It was fun to watch the kids play with their friends and plus it was easy clean up because we could stay outside in the sunshine. The kids were super tired after dinner and so we all took baths and went to bed.

What's new with Tristan...

Tristan is developing into a little boy right before our eyes. We love him so much and are enjoying these top 5 new things about him:

5. Tristan is a terrible breakfast eater! He only wants to snack when he gets up, unless it's chocolate milk. He'll drink galloons of the stuff if we let him. Every blue moon I can get him to eat something like blueberry smoothies, apple cinnamon oatmeal, coconut pancakes and cheerios with lots of honey. He is a good dinner eater though.

4. Tristan is getting more and more comfortable with having his head shaved every 2 weeks. There's always a little bribery involved, but candy isn't too harmful, right, lol?

3. He loves sleeping in the car and now that he is rejecting all afternoon naps, car sleeping is awesome.

2. Tristan is 90% potty trained. He still wears a diaper at night, but he's starting to phase out of that.

1. He loves all ocean life! His favorite cartoon is called 'Octonauts'. He loves jelly fish, sea horses, octupi, whales, sharks and clown fish. When I say love, I mean LOVE- this kid is obsessed, lol.
